TERMS

Use of the service.

These terms cover the public site, the web console, and the phone apps. Last updated 6 September 2026.

The product

Stoop lets you link phones to one account, mint a device-scoped agent key, and receive a handoff as a notification or a local alarm. It is not a calendar, a task manager, or a guarantee that a phone OS will keep a background process alive.

Your account

One person, one account. You are responsible for the email and sign-in method you use, and for every agent key you mint. Treat a key like a password: anyone who has it can send handoffs to the pinned phone until you revoke it.

Plans

Free, Pro, and Ultra are metered per person, not per phone. An agent event is a message or alarm an agent creates. Linked phones stay unlimited. Paid checkout, when live, is handled by Stripe. We can change limits with notice on the site.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to harass, spam, or evade another person’s attention settings. Do not probe or overload the API. We can suspend an account that is being abused.

Delivery

Once a phone has armed an alarm locally, that ring can still fire if the network drops. Push and the phone OS still have to cooperate for a new handoff to arrive. We do not promise a ring through every vendor battery or silent-mode policy.

Ending the account

You can delete the account from Settings. That removes phones, keys, history, and the sign-in. We may delete an abandoned or abusive account.
